Think of a populer energy drink event\, but better! The course will be a drag race to the top of a terrain park that is followed by a fast flowy ride down banked s-turns\, drops\, and rollers. You will not need to catch a ride through the air\, but you will not confuse this with a ski on a golf course. The event will be held at Lost Valley ski area on a terrain park converted for our racing pleasure. So plenty of snow and fun to be had. \nThe day begins with a qualifying round at 10am. Every competitor will move on to the quarterfinals in his/her category bracket. Top two finishers from each heat will move on to the next round. If you are not among the top two in the heat\, you will be placed into a different bracket and continue to compete. All skiers will get a minimum of three rides around the course. (Once during qualifying and twice during heat format rounds). Those making the Maineia-X Finals will get four runs of bliss in their pursuit of greatness. The format and categories are subject to change and are dependent on participant numbers with the goal of maximizing the fun factor. \nJoin us for a day of extreme sprint competition in a festive atmosphere celebrating skiing! Those who make the time trail cut will then compete in head to head racing. All racers and fun runners must sign a liability waiver day of and anyone under 18 will need a parent or guardian 18+to sign. Sleds must be made of steel and wood to compete. Think of a popular energy drink event\, but better! The course will be a drag race to the top of a terrain park that is followed by a fast flowy ride down banked s-turns\, drops\, and rollers. You will not need to catch a ride through the air\, but you will not confuse this with a ski on a golf course.  The event will be held at Lost Valley ski area on a terrain park converted for our racing pleasure. So plenty of snow and fun to be had. \nThe day begins with a qualifying round at 10am.  Every competitor will move on to the quarterfinals in his/her category bracket.  Top two finishers from each heat will move on to the next round. If you are not among the top two in the heat\, you will be placed into a different bracket and continue to compete.  All skiers will get a minimum of three rides around the course. (Once during qualifying and twice during heat format rounds). Those making the Maineia-X Finals will get four runs of bliss in their pursuit of greatness.  The format and categories are subject to change and are dependent on participant numbers with the goal of maximizing the fun factor. \nJoin us for a day of extreme sprint competition in a festive atmosphere celebrating skiing!
