SCHEDULE UPDATE: FRIDAY’S Time Trials, have been moved to this Thursday immediately following prctice runs. The ATSX Ice Cross World Championship Finals comes to Lost Valley in Auburn, ME! All spectators are welcome. RACE COURSE is beyond the farthest chairlift ion Squirrel Run. Spectators can access the course from the snow tube park area an walk up alongside the course in designated areas.
The ATSX Ice Cross World Championships Final race of the series end in the United States at Lost Valley in Auburn. Athletes from around the world will converge on Lost Valley to earn points towards series long competition which culminates at Lost Valley. Previous series races have already occurred in Winterleiten Austria, Pra Loup France, Rataulampi Finland & Sainte-Angele-de-Mérici Canada.
Ice skaters dawned in mostly hockey gear will race downhill. Admission is free and all spectators are welcome. come see the most exciting event on ice as skaters race down a modified iced ski trail with jumps, drops, 90 degree turns & other features. swing out for three nights of fun! Thursday February 22nd is course inspection and practice followed Time trials and a welcome party in the brewpub. FSaturday February 24th is the finals and head-to-head ice cross racing. spectators are allowed in designated areas all three days along the course to see all the action. Food & drink is available in the race area on Saturday.
Thursday, February 22nd-6pm start Open Practice (for registered athletes) & Time Trials at 7pm. Brewpub open 4p-11p (kitchen closes at 8:30p) Welcome Party in the Pub with live Music from Phil N the Blanks 7:30pm-10:30pm
Saturday, February 23rd -6pm start -6:00pm Juniors Finals – 7:00pm Mens & Womens Finals Remote bar and grill available in the race finish area, bar opne inside the main lodge
